Nepali crowdfunding app ‘Vardan’ launched for national and international support

Kathmandu: A new crowdfunding mobile app, ‘Vardan’, has been launched to promote support, unity, and transparency in Nepali society. It is claimed to be the country’s first indigenous crowdfunding platform.

The app aims to help turn dreams into reality through community support, transparency, and digital accessibility. According to its developer, anyone can easily start a support campaign through Vardan based on their needs.

It is said that donors from both Nepal and abroad can provide financial support quickly, securely, and transparently. The developer claims Vardan prioritizes transparency, user-friendliness, and local needs.

Users can register their campaigns, track progress, and communicate directly with supporters through the app. Founder Pitambar Poudel said the main objective is to create a trusted and transparent digital platform for Nepalis to help one another. “We believe the Vardan app will bring positive change to the community,” he said.

The app is currently available for free on the Google Play Store. Its iOS release date has not been announced.
