Facing Bribe Demands Or Delays At Finance Ministry? Complain Directly To Minister Khanal

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Finance has announced that service recipients can directly complain to Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal if any employee under the ministry causes unnecessary trouble, demands a bribe, or deliberately delays work. The decision aims to improve employee work practices in regulators, departments, offices, and banks and financial institutions, and to strengthen good governance.
According to the ministry, complaints can be filed if an employee fails to carry out their duty, pressures clients for improper work, demands bribes, or creates obstacles by delaying services. Complaints can be emailed directly to Minister Khanal at [email protected] or [email protected].
In addition, a toll-free hotline 18105000410 has been provided to register complaints. The ministry has urged service recipients to immediately report any difficulties or irresponsible behavior by employees.
To make complaint management more effective, the ministry has also designated contact persons. Deputy Secretary Niran Bhattarai can be reached at 9851405265 and Branch Officer Pavitra Jawali at 9851405275.
