Kathmandu: Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has launched its flagship foldable smartphone, the Find N5, in the Nepali market at a price of Rs 250,000.
According to the company, the Find N5 is 8.93 mm thin, weighs 229 grams, and is among the lightest foldable phones in the world. It comes with IPX9 water resistance and a titanium flex hinge designed for strength and durability.
Its highlight is the ‘Master Camera System’, developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, featuring wide, ultra-wide, zoom, and periscope lenses. The company claims it delivers professional-level photography and 4K cinematic video.
The device has an 8.12-inch inner display and a 6.62-inch outer display, both supporting a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screens are TÜV Rheinland certified to reduce crease visibility when folded.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform, the phone includes a 5,600 mAh silicon-carbon battery, said to offer the longest backup in the foldable category. It supports 80 W wired and 50 W wireless charging.
Based on ColorOS 15, the Find N5 integrates several AI-powered features, including call summaries, a dual-screen interpreter for real-time translation, and AI object removal in photos. It also offers smooth connectivity with Mac and iOS devices.
In Nepal, the phone is available in a single variant with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. Oppo is also offering zero-interest monthly installment plans, with buyers required to make a 40% down payment and clear the remaining amount within 12 months.
