Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus Launching Tomorrow with 7,000 mAh Battery and Reverse Charging

Kathmandu: Xiaomi is set to launch its new smartphone, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, in China tomorrow, Thursday, August 21. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed key specifications through Chinese social network Weibo and influencer hands-on posts.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus features a massive 7,000 mAh battery, 12.9% larger than that of the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus, with support for up to 1,600 charging cycles. It comes with 90W wired charging and introduces 22.5W reverse wired charging, a feature not available in its predecessor.

The phone sports a 6.83-inch display, larger than the 6.67-inch screen on the 14 Pro Plus. The panel delivers 1.5K resolution, 3,200 nits peak brightness, and 1,800 nits full-panel brightness, with slight curvature on all sides. It is protected by Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass.

For durability, the device carries IP69K certification and a glass fiber back panel for added battery protection. In terms of audio, it comes with speakers supporting up to 400% loudness mode, though Xiaomi lists the peak volume at 82.5 dB, which appears lower than its predecessor.
