New Driving License To Be Delivered Within 24 Hours, Says Minister Timilsina

 

Kathmandu. Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Bikram Timilsina, has said that new driving license applicants will receive their licenses within 24 hours. 

The announcement was shared via the official social media page of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. 

According to Minister Timilsina, the Security Printing Press will print driving licenses within 24 hours of receiving applicant data from the Department of Transport Management.

 He also stated that approximately 2.9 million licenses that have yet to be issued will be printed and handed over to the department by the end of June 2026.
