Gigabyte RTX 5050 Series Now in Nepal, Price Begins at Rs 44,999

Kathmandu: Graphics card manufacturer Gigabyte has launched its latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 series in the Nepali market. The company has started selling the new models through its official distributor, Hukut Store.

Gigabyte says the series is designed to deliver cutting-edge technology at an affordable price, targeting both gamers and content creators.

The RTX 5050 belongs to Nvidia’s 50-series and is based on the Ada Lovelace architecture. It features next-generation ray tracing and DLSS 3.5 AI technology to boost frame rates and enhance the gaming experience.

In the first phase, two variants are available in Nepal:

  • GIGABYTE GeForce RTX™ 5050 OC Low Profile 8G: Priced at Rs 44,999, this model is built for compact PCs. Its dual-fan cooling keeps temperatures stable in tight spaces, while 8 GB of GDDR6 memory delivers fast performance for gaming and creative tasks, the company says.

  • GIGABYTE GeForce RTX™ 5050 GAMING OC 8G: Priced at Rs 46,999, this version uses a triple-fan Windforce cooling system. It offers RGB Fusion lighting for customizable colors, factory overclocking for extra performance, 8 GB of memory, and a durable metal backplate.

According to Gigabyte, the RTX 5050 series’ main strength lies in its Ada Lovelace architecture, which delivers high performance with low power consumption. Its 8 GB GDDR6 video RAM ensures smooth gaming at 1080p and 1440p resolutions, while PCIe 4.0 support enables faster data transfers. This makes it a strong choice for users seeking high performance on a limited budget.

The new graphics cards are available at Hukut Store’s New Road showroom in Kathmandu and online via the company’s website. For online orders, the company offers nationwide free delivery within 24 hours.
