International Electric and Electronics Exhibition to Begin in Kathmandu on Friday

Kathmandu: The Nepal Electric Power and Lights and Nepal Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances International Exhibition will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu, starting Friday. The three-day event, scheduled for 29-31 August, is being jointly organized by Media Space Solutions, Futurex Trade Fair and Events, and Exhibition and Trade Services India.

The Nepal Electricity Authority and the Nepal Solar Power Producers Association are supporting the event. According to the organizers, the exhibition will feature more than 100 stalls from domestic and international companies, showcasing high-quality, state-of-the-art, and latest technology products. Displays will include transmission and distribution equipment, power supply and control devices, household wiring equipment, wires, cables, conductors, advanced switches, LED lighting, electronic equipment, household electrical appliances, charging stations, batteries, office-use electrical technology, and other electrical materials.

The exhibition has been organized with the goal of supporting Nepal’s economic empowerment and energy sector development. It aims to increase the consumption of hydroelectricity by encouraging the use of electrical devices. The event also seeks to promote the growth of energy and electrical businesses, while supporting overall industrial development.

This edition aims to promote electrical appliances, quality electrical materials, and the electricity business while facilitating both domestic and international trade in the sector. The exhibition will bring together national and international entrepreneurs from electrical, electronics, communication, IT, and alternative energy industries under one roof.

Organizers believe the event will help exchange knowledge about the latest industry developments and raise awareness among consumers about the importance of systematic energy use.

Held on the eve of Nepal’s festive season, the exhibition is expected to be particularly beneficial for consumers. Visitors will be able to explore a wide range of products from different companies in one place and conveniently purchase items of their choice.
