​​​​Commission Collecting Details of Damage Caused During Gen-Z Movement, Evidence Can Be Emailed

Kathmandu: The Commission of Inquiry has begun collecting details of the damage caused during the Gen-Z movement on 8 and 9 September. Issuing a press release on Sunday, the Commission requested individuals to send detailed information along with supporting evidence via email.

The interim government had formed the Commission under the leadership of Gauri Bahadur Karki to investigate the physical and human damage that occurred across the country during the movement and to submit a report. The Commission, which began its work on 25 Septemberj, has sought accurate details of the losses caused to political parties, organizations, and individuals in different parts of the country, including Kathmandu.

For this purpose, the Commission has also made public a specific format for submitting information. The required details can be sent using the format to the Commission’s email address: [email protected].

The Commission has also asked individuals to provide any supporting evidence such as audio-visual materials, photos, or documents. According to the Commission, details of the damage can also be sent by post. However, a soft copy of the same must also be emailed to the Commission.
