Ncell Foundation Announces SEE Scholarships for 100 Students Nationwide

Kathmandu. Continuing its partnership with ‘Project Shikshya,’ the Ncell Foundation has announced the nationwide ‘Ncell SEE Scholarship’ program for students who have passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). Under the initiative, 100 deserving students from across the country will receive scholarships for grades 11 and 12.

According to the foundation, scholarship recipients will be selected through written examinations and interviews conducted in all seven provinces.

Along with educational support, selected students will also receive free communication services from Ncell, including fixed data and voice services for 12 months. The foundation said the support aims to help students stay connected with digital learning and access new educational opportunities.

Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, Corporate Communications and Sustainability Director at Ncell, said the initiative seeks to ensure that students’ futures are not limited by geography or economic hardship.

“We firmly believe that no young person’s future should be hindered by geographical location or economic status. Through a transparent selection process, we are reaching students with potential but deprived of opportunities, contributing to building an inclusive future,” she said.

Under the program, ‘Project Shikshya,’ operated by the Hundred Group, will also provide scholarships to an additional 50 students. The project has been supporting SEE graduates across Nepal since 2017 by creating educational opportunities for higher studies.

Last year, the Ncell Foundation awarded scholarships to 50 students nationwide through the same initiative. According to the company, those students are currently pursuing their grade 12 studies at various institutions across the country.
