Sunaina Ghimire Pandey Resigns as CAN Federation President

Kathmandu. Sunaina Ghimire Pandey, President of the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Federation, has resigned from her post citing personal reasons.

Pandey, who was elected through the federation’s 15th General Convention in December 2024, made history as the first woman to lead CAN Federation.

Following her resignation with around eight months remaining in her tenure, Senior Vice President Chiranjibi Adhikari has assumed the role of acting president.

The federation has not issued further details regarding the circumstances of her resignation.
