Here’s How to Check the Scholarship Entrance Exam Results for Grades 11 and 12

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City has published the results of the scholarship entrance exam for grades 11 and 12 for the academic session 2082/083. The exam was held on Saturday at 54 centers for students seeking admission to institutional schools under the scholarship quota.

The results were made public on Sunday. Students can check their results by visiting entrance.kathmandu.gov.np and entering their roll number, date of birth, and password. According to the metropolis’ education department, 14,173 students from 77 districts appeared in the exam. Answer sheets were checked using the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) system, which automatically scans and scores the responses.

Over 4,000 scholarship seats have been awarded across 160 institutional schools in Kathmandu. Priority has been given to 40% of students from community schools, 5% from institutional schools who previously studied under scholarship, 14% permanent residents of Kathmandu, and 1% from landfill-affected areas.

Additionally, 40% of the reserved seats are allocated to women, Dalits, indigenous/tribal groups, Madhesis, Tharus, Muslims, persons with disabilities, residents of backward areas, and children of martyrs or missing persons who studied in community schools.
