Segway to Unveil Four New Models at Nepal Mobility Expo

Kathmandu: Segway is set to unveil four new models at the upcoming Nepal Mobility Expo. In a press release issued on Tuesday, Segway-Ninebot’s official distributor for Nepal, iHub Pvt. Ltd., announced the launch.

The models to be showcased include two electric scooters, the E150 MK2 and E125 MK2, an electric bike Zyber, and an electric cycle Jafari. These vehicles will be unveiled at the expo taking place at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from August 6–10. The company claims all four models are well-suited for urban commuting.

The Segway E150 MK2 features a 7,500-watt motor and two 1,944-watt batteries, with a top speed of 90 km/h. It offers a range of 75 to 120 km, with the company estimating an average range of 100 km.

The E125 MK2 is equipped with a 3,600-watt motor and a 1,944-watt battery, providing a range between 60 to 100 km, according to the company.

The Segway Xyber E-Bike comes with a 3,000-watt hub motor and a 1,440-watt lithium battery, offering a 77 km range. Meanwhile, the Xafari E-Cycle features a 750-watt motor and a 936-watt battery, with a range of 58 km.

iHub has stated that details regarding pricing and availability will be revealed during the expo.
