Kathmandu: Nepali cybersecurity company Vhairav Tech has launched a new version of its cybersecurity platform ‘Trident SIEM’, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). The updated version aims to automatically detect, analyze, and prevent cyberattacks on an organization’s digital systems.
According to the company, the platform monitors all digital infrastructure such as websites, cloud systems, email, and networks from a single place. The company claims it provides solutions through one integrated system, removing the need to purchase costly, separate software from foreign providers. It is said to be particularly useful for highly regulated sectors such as banks, financial institutions, and telecommunications.
“Foreign platforms sell separate systems for different tasks, which increases both cost and complexity,” said Vijay Limbu, CEO of Vhairav Tech. “We have included all features in one package. This makes 24-hour security monitoring easier and more affordable.”
The new version’s AI technology collects data on emerging global cyberattacks and issues alerts to protect against potential threats. Machine learning, meanwhile, helps prevent insider risks by identifying suspicious activities from within an organization, said CEO Limbu.
According to him, the product is being used not only in Nepal but also by companies in Bangladesh, UAE, Australia, Indonesia, and the US. “This product has proven that world-class cybersecurity technology can be built in Nepal as well,” said Limbu. Bhairav Tech is certified under international security standards such as ‘SOC 2’ and ‘ISO 27001’.
For more information, the company can be contacted at [email protected]. “The price depends on the client’s needs,” CEO Limbu added. “Once we receive an email, we analyze their requirements and move forward accordingly.”
