Nepal Telecom Brings 4G to Remote Humla Villages

Kathmandu: Nepal Telecom has extended its 4G network to Humla. Since 10 September, both 2G and 4G services have been operational in Sarkegad Rural Municipality-1.

With the launch of 4G, residents of Sarkegad Rural Municipality wards 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6, including Zilagaun, Majhagaun, Ghitagaun, Nauli, and Lum, will now have access to high-speed mobile internet, Telecom said.

Similarly, since 12 September, Telecom has also brought 2G and 4G services into operation in Chankheli Rural Municipality-6 of Humla. Service recipients from Baraihigaun, Saru, Deuli, Nimigaun, and other areas of wards 4, 5, and 6 of Chankheli are now benefiting from the expanded coverage.
