Kathmandu: A hacker group calling itself GenZRisingNepal had hacked the official website of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). The group used SQL Injection to attack the ‘Press Release’ section and posted its message there.
The hackers claimed the attack was in revenge for the release of the party’s detained president during the Gen-Z rebellion. Their message had targeted former Home Minister and RSP President Ravi Lamichhane, stating: “We do not forgive. We do not forget.”
The message criticized the RSP as a “political circus that insists the past era is the future.” It alleged that the party’s main goal was “to keep its leaders from going to jail.”

The hackers specifically targeted Lamichhane, saying: “Ravi Lamichhane ~ the man with two citizenship recently escaped the law thanks to Gen-Z’s protests.”
They also accused him of wasting party resources to hide “suspicious financial transactions.” The message added: “Nepal, meet ‘New Politics’ ~ same old tricks, just shinier. Gen-Z sees through it. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.”
The group had posted cryptocurrency addresses, including USDT, BTC, and Ethereum, asking for support to fight corruption.

The RSP website was later restored. The hacker message in the press release section had been removed. A photocopy of Lamichhane’s citizenship certificate and the names, contact numbers, and addresses of some activists were also shared on Telegram. The hackers claimed this data had been obtained by hacking the RSP website.
