NAS-IT Expo Organized to Establish Nepal as a Trusted Technology Hub

Kathmandu: The TIG NAS-IT Expo 2025, organized by the Nepal Association for Software and IT Service Companies (NAS-IT), has begun at Heritage Garden in Sanepa, Lalitpur. The two-day technology exhibition, launched on Friday with the slogan “Connecting Businesses with Technology and Shaping Nepal’s AI Future”, features over 35 technology companies and is attended by industry leaders, policymakers, investors, innovators, and international guests.
At the opening ceremony, NAS-IT Chairman Gaurav Pandey said the expo aims to position Nepal as a trusted hub for digital talent, technology solutions, and innovation. “This expo is not just a platform to showcase technology but also a space for dialogue, collaboration, and progress,” he added.
TIG Co-Founder Prarthana Sakha expressed pride in supporting and promoting local innovators. “When a company grows, the entire technology community grows. This initiative sends a strong message that Nepal is not only a consumer of technology but also a creator,” she said.
The event featured sessions on various topics. Jagdish Khadka, CEO of ESEWA Pvt. Ltd., delivered a keynote titled “Digital Nepal – Building a Cashless Future through Collaboration”, sharing his vision for expanding digital payments in Nepal.
Pritesh Upadhyay, CEO of Coding Mountain USA, offered strategies for Nepali companies to enter the global market in his session “Winning Clients Globally: Sales Strategy and Pitching for Success.”
Navdeep Alam, Chief Technical Officer of Abacus Insights Inc., spoke on “Bridging Continents: Why American Firms are Building Teams in Nepal”, highlighting growing confidence among American companies in expanding technology teams in Nepal.
Kubota Mitsuhiro, CEO of The IYEL Company, explored opportunities for Japan-Nepal technology collaboration in his session “Bridging Borders: Opportunities for Nepali IT Companies in Japan.”
In the closing session, NAS-IT Vice President Dipen Chapagain emphasized that collaboration among innovators, investors, and institutions will form the foundation of a technology-driven future. He said the expo serves as an important platform to connect Nepal’s technology sector with the international market.
The TIG NAS-IT Expo 2025 also features technology demonstrations, investor networking, new product launches, and AI-based solutions.
NAS-IT, a non-profit organization representing Nepal’s software and IT sector, seeks to establish Nepal as a trusted technology hub by promoting innovation, collaboration, and global competitiveness.
