Kathmandu: Hamro Patro has launched a service that allows users to receive influenza vaccinations at home. Nepal’s popular mobile app now offers this service through certified health workers, ensuring safe and convenient vaccinations.
According to Hamro Patro, the service is being operated in collaboration with Sarwanidan Clinic Pvt. Ltd. The partnership aims to provide users with more systematic, reliable, and accessible health services.
Hamro Patro has long connected users with specialist doctors via audio and video calls to provide healthcare services. “Our priority is to make health services easily accessible to Nepali citizens. Launching the home vaccination service is another important step in that journey,” said Sudina Gautam, Director of Hamro Patro.
She added, “Coordination with Sarwanidan Clinic has made this service safer and more medically organized.”
As the risk of flu increases with the onset of winter, timely vaccination is particularly important for the elderly, people with chronic illnesses, and those with weakened immune systems. Many families, however, face challenges visiting hospitals or clinics.
Hamro Patro’s ‘Vaccine at Home’ service addresses this problem by providing a safe, fast, and reliable option. Users can easily book the service through the Hamro Patro app.
How to Access the Service
Open the Hamro Patro app and select the ‘Vaccine at Home’ section on the homepage. Enter your name, phone number, and address, then choose a convenient time for vaccination. A certified nurse or health worker will visit your home to administer the vaccine.
Hamro Patro assures users that the service is completely safe and reliable. The app provides important information, including eligibility, who should avoid vaccination, potential side effects, and contact details. The service carries a fee of Rs 3,900 for home vaccination.
