Khalti Wallet Founder Amit Agrawal Becomes Chairman of Fintech Alliance Nepal

Kathmandu: Amit Agrawal, co-founder and director of IME Khalti, has been elected as the chairman of Fintech Alliance Nepal. The organization’s annual general meeting, held in the capital on Sunday, elected Agrawal to lead the new term.

Sajan Sharma previously served as chairman. After his one-year term ended, the alliance formed a new working committee. 

Agrawal, an experienced entrepreneur in Nepal’s fintech industry, had served as the vice-chairman of the organization in the last term.

The Fintech Alliance Nepal has become a key platform for sharing knowledge, experience, and ideas in the country’s rapidly growing fintech sector. Dedicated to fostering collaboration and innovation, the alliance connects individuals through various programs and online initiatives while providing essential resources and mentorship.

It aims to build a vibrant fintech ecosystem by encouraging innovation through collaborative research and startup support. The alliance believes that coordination among all stakeholders will contribute to the sustainable growth of Nepal’s fintech sector.

The new working committee includes Devendra Khadka, CEO of Synergy Tech Software Pvt. Ltd.; Binod Pokharel, CBO of Citytech Group; and Vikash Shrestha, RM of Machhapuchhre Bank. Similarly, Ashish Sharma, Co-Founder of iMark Pvt. Ltd.; Munni Rajbhandari, COO of NCHL; and Santosh Tamrakar of IMS Software Pvt. Ltd. are also members of the committee.
