Nepali Cybersecurity Company Eminence Ways Wins Prestigious Award Worth Rs 7 Million in Switzerland

Kathmandu: Nepali cybersecurity company Eminence Ways has won the prestigious ‘SEE Impact Award 2025’ in Switzerland. The company received a prize of 50,000 US dollars (around Rs 7.1 million) for its project ‘Cyber Ready Nepal’.

A total of 34 teams from around the world participated in the competition organized by the Swiss Investment Fund for Emerging Markets (SIFEM). Eminence Ways secured third place, while India’s Easterlight Electric and Seeds Farm took the first and second positions respectively. The award was announced on November 6.

Eminence Ways won the recognition for its project titled ‘Cyber Ready Nepal: Developing Skilled Manpower for National and Global Cyber Security Needs’. The project aims to tackle Nepal’s shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals by offering intensive hands-on training, international certifications, and real-world project experience.

The company’s ‘train-the-trainer’ model focuses on sustainability by preparing skilled instructors to continue training others. The project targets 70 percent employment or promotion of trainees within six months and aims to improve their skill assessment by 35 percent. Organizers believe this initiative will help position Nepal as a rising player in the global cybersecurity field.

According to SIFEM, the SEE Impact Award identifies and supports innovative and impactful projects that enhance skills, employability, and workforce quality in emerging markets.
