DishHome Go Says Live Streaming Issues Resolved as Two NPL Matches Scheduled Today

Kathmandu: DishHome Go, the official OTT app for NPL live streaming, has said that there will be no streaming problems today. The company apologized for the technical issues that affected the live broadcast of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) opening match on Monday.

DishHome Go issued an apology on Facebook, writing, “We have resolved all the issues. The streaming is now running smoothly. We apologize for the problems seen earlier.”

During Monday’s opening match, users reported problems such as videos not playing, repeated errors, and audio not working even when the stream loaded. DishHome Go said all issues have now been fixed. “Since it was a live broadcast of a big event, there were some bugs in the beginning. But we have resolved most of the issues,” a DishHome official said.

Even after the company claimed the stream was stable, users continued to express dissatisfaction with the video quality. Today, Tuesday, Chitwan Rhinos will face Karnali Yaks at 11:45 AM, followed by Biratnagar Giants vs. Pokhara Avengers at 4:00 PM.

On Monday, DishHome Go streamed the opening match between Kathmandu Gorkhas and defending champions Janakpur Bolts for free. Kathmandu won the match by 5 wickets. DishHome Go said about 200,000 viewers watched the match live on its platform.

From today, viewers must subscribe to DishHome Go to watch the matches. The subscription fee is Rs 300 for users in Nepal, Rs 500 for users in the Gulf and Middle East, and USD 10 for users in other countries (except India).

NPL matches can also be watched live on Star Sports and Kantipur Max HD. To learn how to subscribe to DishHome Go, click here or watch the video below.
