Shark Tank Nepal Season 2 commences, Applications Open with Investment Goal of 500 Million

 

Kathmandu. Applications have been opened for the second season of the popular business reality show 'Shark Tank Nepal,' broadcast by Himalaya Television. Applications have been invited with the intention of investing a minimum of 500 million rupees in various startups and businesses. 

Entrepreneurs who want to raise investment for their business ideas and existing businesses can apply for this opportunity. According to the organizers, companies registered and operating in Nepal, as well as Nepali citizens aged 18 and above, are eligible to apply online.  

According to the schedule, the deadline for submitting applications is set for the second week of March. It is mentioned that the screening of the applicants will be conducted within March, and according to the plan, preparations are underway to begin shooting the show from April. pril.

How to submit an application?

While filling out the application form, the entrepreneur will have to provide details such as their citizenship or identification document, company registration certificate, co-founders’ details, and the company’s current financial status. 

In this show, entrepreneurs from all sectors, including agriculture, food, manufacturing, fashion, health, tourism, and services, can participate. According to reports, the original sharks will remain in Season 2: Hem Raj Dhakal, co-founder of IME Group; Anand Bagaria, director of Nimbus Holding; Ritu Singh Vaidya, managing director of Toyota Nepal; Saurabh Jyoti, director of Padma Jyoti Group; and Cabinet Shrestha, chairman of Agni Group.

The first season of 'Shark Tank Nepal' aired on July 2, 2025. The 20-episode season witnessed 80 entrepreneurs pitching their business ideas. Among them, commitments totalling 350 million rupees were secured across various businesses. This time, the goal is to further expand the investment scope.
