Kathmandu. The National Personnel Records (Civil) has announced that all of its services will now be operated fully through an online system. In a press statement, the department said the new arrangement started on April 29.
With the implementation of the digital system, civil servants will no longer need to visit the department in person to register service records or update personal details. Employees can now access these services online from their respective locations.
The department said a dedicated email service has also been introduced to streamline the submission of salary reports. Employees or concerned offices can now send reports through [email protected].
Similarly, the process for issuing retirement authorization letters, commonly known as pension slips, has also been simplified under the new system.
To help users navigate the system and avoid confusion, the department has uploaded notices and video tutorials on its official website explaining the procedures.
The department said the move is intended to make administrative services faster, more efficient, and more technology-driven.
