Kathmandu. The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has launched an online suggestion collection portal aimed at making upcoming government policies, programs, and budgets more transparent, participatory, and people-oriented. The portal came into operation on Saturday.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the platform has been introduced to make policy and budget formulation more effective by incorporating the needs, ideas, and expectations of citizens. Nearly 4,000 suggestions were submitted within a day of the portal’s launch.
The government is committed to reviewing and implementing the important suggestions received in this manner at the policy and administrative levels. The Prime Minister's Office has made a heartfelt appeal to all citizens to actively participate in this important initiative.
How to Submit Suggestions
Users can access the portal by visiting suggestions.opmcm.gov.np. The process begins by clicking the “Give Suggestion” button on the homepage.
The portal provides separate categories for suggestions related to budget allocation, policy formulation, and budget or project requests. After selecting a category and topic area, users can submit suggestions by entering details such as province, district, local level, and ward.
The platform also allows users to upload up to five files, each with a maximum size of 10 MB. Suggestions can be submitted either anonymously or with the user’s identity disclosed.
