Kathmandu. Nepal Telecom has introduced a new online system for issuing prepaid e-SIMs, allowing customers to obtain SIM services without visiting physical service centers.
Under the new service, users can visit esim.ntc.net.np and select the “Get New Prepaid eSIM” option. They must then complete the registration process by entering the required personal details as instructed on the platform.
After submission, users can make payment through digital wallets or QR-based payment systems. Once the payment is confirmed, a QR code for the e-SIM is generated, which can be scanned via the mobile device settings to activate the service.
The platform also offers the facility to convert an existing physical SIM into an e-SIM through an online process. In addition, users can apply for a new physical SIM card and complete or update their customer details through the online KYC system provided by the company.
