Kathmandu. Internet service provider Sky Broadband Pvt. Ltd. has launched managed service provider (MSP) services through its IT division, SkyIT, aiming to expand beyond conventional internet connectivity and offer comprehensive technology management solutions to businesses.
The company said the new service is designed to address the growing dependence of organizations on digital platforms, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business continuity systems.
According to Sky Broadband, the MSP offering will provide centralized IT support, proactive system monitoring, infrastructure management, cybersecurity services, and technical assistance through a single platform.
Suman Lal Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of SkyIT, said businesses today require more than reliable internet connectivity.
“Organizations are looking for dependable IT operations, rapid technical support, strong cybersecurity, and predictable technology costs. Our goal is not only to provide connectivity but also to serve as a trusted technology partner,” Pradhan said.
Under the MSP model, SkyIT will offer continuous technical support and professional IT management services with defined service standards, the company said.
The service portfolio includes network infrastructure management, server and system monitoring, user and device support, Wi-Fi and LAN management, cybersecurity coordination, backup and recovery solutions, IT helpdesk services, asset monitoring, and vendor coordination.
Sky Broadband said it has introduced multiple service packages tailored to the varying requirements and sizes of businesses. The company added that the initiative aims to reduce downtime, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen technology performance through regular reporting, preventive maintenance, and strategic IT recommendations.
