MOPIT Launches ‘Hello Infrastructure’ Service to Address Public Complaints on Roads and Projects

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Infrastructure Development has launched a new service titled “Hello Infrastructure,” modeled after the existing “Hello Sarkar” service, to collect and address complaints related to infrastructure projects across the country.

In a Facebook post, Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal said the initiative aims to improve responsiveness to citizens’ concerns regarding roads, bridges, drinking water, and other public infrastructure services. He added that the platform will allow the public to directly submit complaints and suggestions related to ministry services and ongoing development projects through multiple communication channels.

Under the new system, citizens can call the toll-free number 1120 during office hours to register complaints and feedback. For 24-hour service, complaints can also be submitted via WhatsApp or Viber at +977 9851431060, or via email at [email protected].

The ministry has promoted the initiative with the slogans “Your Complaint, Our Concern” and “Your Government, At Your Service,” aiming to strengthen citizen engagement and service delivery.

More details about the service are available on the ministry’s official website.
