Purbanchal University Opens Scholarship Applications for Undergraduate and PGD Technical Programs

 

Kathmandu. The Faculty of Science and Technology at Purbanchal University has opened online applications for students seeking admission under the scholarship quota in various undergraduate and postgraduate diploma (PGD) programs for the academic session 2083/84.

Issuing a notice on Monday, the faculty announced the entrance examination schedule for technical programs offered through its constituent and affiliated colleges.

According to the notice, scholarship applications have been opened for undergraduate programs, including BCA-IT, BIT, B.Tech in AI, and BSc. Likewise, students can also apply for postgraduate diploma programs such as PGDCA-IT, PGD-AI, and PGD-CS.

Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the university’s official website or entrance.puexam.edu.np.

The application fee has been set at Rs 1,500 until 12 August 2026. Applicants who miss the regular deadline can still apply by paying a late fee of Rs 3,000 until 17 August 2026.

The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on 22 August 2026.

The university has allocated scholarships for 10 percent of the total student intake. Of the total scholarship quota, 5 percent is reserved for meritorious students, while the remaining 5 percent is allocated to students from designated reservation categories.

Applicants seeking admission under reserved categories must submit official documents verifying their eligibility. The university has also stated that the entrance examination fee must be paid through online payment systems.
