‘Startup and Idea Fest 2025’ to Feature Over 100 Startups, Free Entry for Participants

Kathmandu: The Startup and Idea Fest 2025 will be held on 13 and 14 November at Anupam Foodland, Battisputli, Kathmandu. More than 100 startups and innovations from all seven provinces will participate in the event.

Jointly organized by Living with ICT and Sway of Changemakers, the fest will highlight technologies related to robotics, drones, AI, rockets, and aerospace. Over 50 startups and products showcased at the fest will also compete as semi-finalists for the ICT Awards 2025, where visitors will have the opportunity to vote based on the displayed innovations.

According to the organizers, the event aims to promote innovative startups, students, and entrepreneurs across Nepal and support the growth of the startup ecosystem. Participation in the exhibition is free, and interested participants can register by filling out an online form.

The fest will also feature product demos, networking sessions, and investment opportunities for investors interested in funding new ideas and products. Startups coming from outside Kathmandu will have access to mentoring and incubation sessions, while a free training session on “Architecture as a Service” will also be held. Additional mentoring and training programs will take place at Sunway College and MIT College.

The best startups from each province will be honored with the ‘Province Startup ICT Recognition’ during the grand finale of the ICT Awards 2025.

Currently, the selection process for the ICT Awards 2025 is underway across 15 categories, with over 700 online nominations received so far, according to the organizers.
