Tech Parva 4.0 To Take Place At Paschimanchal Campus In Pokhara From January 4

Kathmandu: ‘Tech Parva 4.0’ is set to be organized at Paschimanchal Campus in Pokhara from January 4. The three-day Tech Parva will be organized by the Innovative Computer Engineering Students Society (i-CES).
i-CES President Upendra Raj Joshi said that Tech Parva will be organized with the slogan “Think Bigger, Innovate Bolder and Become Better,” presented by the Kangaroo Education Foundation. According to him, ‘Tech Parva 4.0’ will be inaugurated on January 4 . A Data Workshop and a Capture the Flag competition will be conducted on the same day.
Similarly, a Datathon and a Design Incubation competition will be organized on January 5. The Code with Coffee competition and the closing ceremony of Tech Parva 4.0 will be organized on January 6.
The ‘Data Workshop’ will focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning. The organizers stated that ‘Capture the Flag’ is a competition related to cybersecurity. In this competition, participants will have to use their problem-solving skills to find hidden flags through various signals and data.
Similarly, in the ‘Datathon,’ participants will analyze the data provided in the competition to identify hidden patterns and develop machine learning models. In the ‘Design Incubation,’ participants will be taught the principles of making user interfaces (UI) attractive and user-friendly.
Likewise, the organizers stated that they will organize a Code with Coffee competition for students interested in programming. The competition aims to help participants prepare for the challenges of real-world software engineering.
Pre-registration is required to participate in Tech Parva. Interested participants can fill out this form to enter Tech Parva and take part in various competitions by clicking the provided link. The entry fee for Tech Parva is Rs 100 per person, and the participation fee for each competition is Rs 100 per person. The organizers said that people interested in the field of information technology from across Nepal can participate in Tech Parva.
i-CES President Joshi said that prior to the start of Tech Parva, the Innovative Computer Engineering Students Society is conducting pre-events. He informed that programs such as AI and ML Workshop, Cyber Security Workshop, Design Workshop, Googler, Type Ninja, Prompt Mimer, and others are being conducted at various colleges in Pokhara.
