SMS Service To Be Suspended On Nepal Telecom Mobile Numbers Tonight

Kathmandu: SMS services on Nepal Telecom mobile numbers will be suspended overnight due to system upgrades.

Issuing a notice, the company said the service will be affected due to technical improvements and data migration to a new SMSC system.

The disruption is scheduled from 11:30 pm tonight (13 January) to 4:20 am tomorrow.

During this period, customers may face difficulties in sending and receiving SMS messages. Nepal Telecom said the upgrade is being carried out to make the system more systematic and effective.

The company has apologized for the inconvenience caused. Other services, including voice calls and internet, will operate normally during the scheduled time.
