Government to Form High-Level Task Force to Review IT Systems in Public Offices

Kathmandu. The government is set to form a high-level task force to carry out a detailed study and monitoring of software and information technology systems used in government agencies.

A Cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to establish the study task force under the coordination of the Information and Communication Technology Advisor.

Government spokesperson and Minister of Education, Science and Technology Sasmit Pokharel said that the committee will be formed to review issues related to software and IT systems in public bodies.

According to him, the task force will assess the technical efficiency and security of digital systems in government offices and submit a detailed report to the government.
