Kathmandu. Nepali technology company TingTing has expanded its services into Sri Lanka through a partnership to provide AI-based business communication systems.
As part of the expansion, TingTing signed an agreement with Effective Solutions, a Sri Lankan company that provides technology services for businesses, enterprises, and public institutions. Effective Solutions is affiliated with ‘Trace’, an institution that supports startups, innovation, and enterprise development in Sri Lanka.
According to the company, TingTing is also moving forward with plans to establish an office in Sri Lanka to serve local customers. In Nepal, the company has been working with banks, insurance companies, internet service providers, government agencies, and other organisations.
TingTing Chief Executive Officer Manish Sharma said the expansion aligns with Nepal’s broader goal of exporting information technology services. “We are planning to expand globally, and this is an important step in that journey,” Sharma said. “The government has emphasised the export of IT and technology-related services from Nepal, and we are proud to represent Nepal in expanding these services internationally. Growth in the technology sector is also essential for creating employment opportunities in Nepal.”
Effective Solutions Director Heminda Jayaweera said the collaboration with a Nepali AI company would benefit entrepreneurs and service providers in Sri Lanka.
Businesses in Sri Lanka currently manage customer interactions separately through telephone calls, text messages, social media, emails, web chats, and call centres. According to TingTing, this fragmented system has led to challenges such as delayed responses, missed messages, increased call pressure, and a lack of centralised customer information.
To address these issues, TingTing has introduced its AI-powered communication platform, ‘TingTing Suite,’ in Sri Lanka. The platform includes services such as call broadcast, messaging, forms, agents, omni-channel communication, and customer connect tools.
The company said the system enables organisations to manage customer interactions, collect feedback, and operate call centres through a single integrated platform. It also provides features including call records, transcriptions, sentiment analysis, AI-generated summaries, dashboards, and communication analytics.
Earlier, TingTing represented Nepal at the Web Summit Qatar, where it showcased its technology solutions on an international platform.
