Kathmandu. Xiaomi has launched its new smartphone, the Redmi A7 Pro, in the Nepali market. The smartphone is available in four color variants: Sunset Orange, Palm Green, Mist Blue, and Black.
The company has stated that the phone supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, and, due to its 800-nit brightness, the display remains clear even in strong sunlight. The DC dimming technology in the display is said to help reduce screen flicker and decrease eye strain.
The Redmi A7 Pro is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. For photography, the device comes with a 13-megapixel AI dual rear camera setup and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Xiaomi claims the phone’s large sensor and night mode feature help capture clearer images in low-light conditions.
The smartphone also includes a 200 percent volume boost feature and ‘Wet Touch Technology 2.0,’ which enables users to operate the screen even with wet, oily, or soapy hands.
Powered by a 12nm processor, the phone is designed for internet browsing, video streaming, light gaming, and multitasking. The company said the integration of Xiaomi’s HyperOS and UFS 2.2 storage technology improves overall performance and reduces app launch times.
The device supports expandable storage of up to 2TB and comes with a two-year warranty. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Redmi A7 Pro is priced at Rs 17,999 in Nepal.
