Kathmandu. The National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN) is set to provide free online training on artificial intelligence (AI) and social media for youth from indigenous communities.
According to the foundation, the training will cover the basics of AI, the effective use of social media, digital content creation, and other digital skills to improve participants' digital literacy and online engagement.
The seven-day training will be held from July 16 to July 22 and will be conducted entirely online. Acting Chief Ram Kumar Maden said the virtual format will allow the foundation to accommodate as many participants as possible.
Only individuals from indigenous communities are eligible to participate. Interested applicants must complete the online application form by midnight on July 15.
The foundation said the initiative is intended to strengthen the digital capacity of indigenous youth and equip them with practical skills for the digital age.
