Kathmandu: The ‘NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025,’ organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), kicked off today at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The event, featuring 50 brands, was officially inaugurated by Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel. The expo, which began on August 6, will continue until August 10.

A total of 35 brands, including BYD, Proton, Mahindra, and Leapmotor, are unveiling their new vehicles at the event. Electric vehicles (EVs) from various brands are said to be the main attraction. Many brands have showcased their latest EV models at the NAIMA Expo.

To ensure the expo is organized and safe, the venue has been equipped with disabled-friendly structures, improved drainage, and security and emergency services.

For visitors’ convenience, entry tickets can be purchased in advance through the ‘Khalti by IME’ app. To address parking issues, NAIMA has partnered with Pathao, offering up to 30 percent discounts on rides to Bhrikutimandap.
