‘Digital Rights Conference 2025’ To Be Held In Kathmandu On Tuesday, Free Registration Open

Kathmandu: A conference focused on digital rights is set to be held in Kathmandu on Tuesday. The one-day event will take place on December 16 at Mall Plaza in Thamel under the theme ‘Building Trust In The Digital Age’.

The conference is being organized by the Digital Freedom Coalition. It will focus on the protection of human rights in digital technologies, algorithmic transparency, digital bias, and platform regulation.

Experts from relevant fields will lead panel discussions on Nepal’s AI policy, information reliability in Nepal, and the state of digital literacy.

Baburam Aryal, founder and advocate of the Digital Freedom Coalition, said that around 100 to 110 participants are expected to attend the conference. The event will run from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
