​​SCT Launches Corporate Internet Banking Service, Global IME Bank Becomes First Partner

Kathmandu: Payment system operator Smart Choice Technologies Limited (SCT) has formally launched a new internet banking service focused on corporate customers. The service has been developed through technical collaboration with SWIFT Technologies.

SCT said the service is designed for large companies as well as small and medium enterprises. It aims to provide advanced digital banking facilities for business users.

Under the new system, corporate customers can conduct multiple transactions at once using a hierarchical approval structure. The service supports a maker-checker process and bulk uploads. SCT said users can also manage bill payments, salaries, and fund transfers through a single digital platform.

Global IME Bank Limited has become the first bank in Nepal to adopt SCT’s corporate internet banking service. The bank has launched the service for its corporate clients under the name ‘Biznex’.

Through Biznex, Global IME Bank’s corporate customers can automate and streamline daily financial operations. The bank said the service will help speed up workflows and improve operational efficiency in business banking.

SCT currently provides card services through 23 banks and financial institutions and more than 100 cooperatives across Nepal. Its smart banking service, in operation for the past three years, functions as the company’s retail omni-channel platform.

In addition to card services, SCT offers digital payment solutions such as Smart QR, Smart Pay IBFT, and mobile banking. The company believes the expansion into corporate banking will further strengthen workflow management in Nepal’s business sector.
