NC Election Manifesto: Digital Revolution in Education and Government Services

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress (NC) released its election manifesto for the upcoming House of Representatives elections. On Wednesday, at Madhesh Province's capital, Janakpurdham, an event was held where the party unveiled a document outlining its 10 major visions.

The NC has stated that it will introduce major reforms in the education sector and vows to make education from pre-primary to university level technology-driven and application-based.

The pledge declares its commitment to ensuring quality education without placing any additional financial burden on students, guardians, or institutions, as well as developing schools into centers that foster students’ creativity and innovation.

The main goal of NC is to link every state service with technology and make the concept of Digital Nepal a reality. The party claims that through this process negligence and corruption in government offices will be eliminated.

The Congress is determined to make Nepal free from harassments and malpractices by upholding the rule of law under which citizens will be able to easily access government services from their homes.

To enhance the productivity of the agricultural sector, which is the backbone of the country’s economy, the Congress has also proposed a policy to use technology to its maximum. The NC has given priority to the plan to have traditional agriculture connected with technology in order to increase the financial status of farmers.

Through the manifesto, the Nepali Congress presents their agendas among voters and claims to change the face of the country in the next five years.
