Minister Shrestha Listens To Citizens’ Complaints Via Facebook And Email, Commits To ‘Meaningful Changes’

Kathmandu: Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Shraddha Shrestha has begun listening to citizens’ complaints and suggestions through social media and email to make the ministry’s work more effective and people-oriented. Marking one week since assuming office, she said she is committed to bringing “meaningful changes” through direct dialogue with citizens.

She said the areas that require reform and transformation within the ministry have now been clearly identified. In the coming days, she said, the focus will be on result-oriented work. “My sincere efforts in the coming days will be for meaningful changes, not small or big,” she said.

Calling public trust, support, and critical feedback her main strength, the minister urged citizens to freely share their complaints and suggestions through Facebook and the ministry’s email at [email protected].

Minister Shrestha also called on all stakeholders to begin a new journey of positive change based on trust, dialogue, and cooperation.
