Kathmandu. A partnership has been formed between the HR service provider company 'Talent Connects' and the AI company 'Fusemachines' to integrate an AI-based 'interview agent.' On Thursday, an agreement was reached to integrate the interview agent designed by Fuzemachines into Talent Connects' ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
Divash Thapa, managing director of Talent Connects, stated that now more than 300 companies using the company’s ATS software will be able to select skilled manpower with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).
Thapa stated that this technology aims to solve the problems that arise while hiring employees in the technical field. According to him, since most human resource (HR) managers come from a management background, they often face confusion about what questions to ask during interviews for technical positions.
During the conversation, Thapa said, “Now an AI agent will also participate in interviews in our system and suggest appropriate questions to HR based on the job description provided.”
Thapa stated that the AI agent will listen to the candidate's answers during the interview, record them, and also suggest follow-up questions to HR if the answers are unsatisfactory or if further clarification is needed.
This technology, developed by FuseMachines for its own internal purposes, is now set to enter the commercial market through Talent Connects. Since FuseMachines has a presence in the USA, Nepal, Canada, and Latin America, there are plans to take this AI solution to a global level.
Currently, the development and integration of this technology have reached the final stage. According to Diwash Thapa, preparations have been made to officially launch this service within the next month.
This partnership is said to play an important role in initiating the use of new technology in Nepal's 'hiring ecosystem' as well as in bridging the gap between skilled manpower and companies.
